Photo Refresh

The existing photography library had grown stale. Outdated and overused assets were limiting what the design team could create. Packaging was constantly evolving, but the visuals couldn't keep up, forcing repeated workarounds and creative compromises. I started by auditing the library to understand exactly where it was falling short. That audit became the foundation for a case to leadership: we needed a more versatile, evergreen visual system that could flex with the brand as it evolved, not another set of images that would date quickly. From there, I collaborated on photographer selection, weighing portfolios against the needs we'd identified. I helped define the initial visual direction through curated references, establishing the tone and style before a single shoot. The final photography delivered elevated product imagery that gave the brand room to grow and set a new bar for what Grön's product photography could be.
